Dr. Little, Mom's Day, and Cinco

Last week was a pretty exciting week around our household. Chris did a spectacular job on his thesis defense and has earned his title of Dr. Little! It took 6 years of hard work and some pretty intense writing the past few months, so now he's been enjoying a more relaxed schedule and catching up on life in general!

On Wednesday, we brought home the new pup, and the name Cinco seems to fit him nicely. He is doing well around the house and has been lots of fun! He is learning his manners with the cats and is good with Foster. He is still a mouthy puppy, so he hangs out in the kitchen when Foster is on the floor playing. When he loses those sharp baby teeth and chewing habits, he'll be granted a few more privileges around the house and Foster.

Sunday was my first Mother's Day and was spent lazing around the house with Foster while Chris cooked breakfast, went grocery shopping, and did lots of projects around the house that I've been nagging him about. Wendy and Don came over for dinner with Lily, who was more interested in a ball than playing with Cinco. Foster was sporting a super cute vest knitted by my mom, Mimi!

  1. Wow! Congrats all around to the whole Dr. & Dr. Little family -- on both Chris becoming a Dr. Little and on the very adorable Cinco. Can't wait to hear more about your adventures with him.
