Mimi and museums

Last weekend we were very excited to have an extended visit from Mimi! Not only did we hit our small local children's museum, but we also made a trip into Philly to the Please Touch museum. Although a bit overstimulating at first, the kids had fun and Foster particularly loved the Carousel ride with Mimi (as long as he was on a fixed horse...no up and down for this guy). We hastened Mimi's exit with the threat of a vomiting child, but luckily the bug didn't jump from Molly to the rest of us (yet) and Mimi escaped unscathed. We had a very rainy day this past Friday and killed some time with Gak. A very fun project for those of you with little ones! I couldn't find Borax at Target, but I did at the local grocery store. I wouldn't do this project with kids who might eat the Gak though....

Also, it works with white glue and clear glue, but NOT glitter glue (big mess).
