Super Panda and misc.

What happens if you put Molly in front of the TV (it's still a novelty...).

He doesn't think he is a Panda, just a superhero with a mask.

I have to go to the dollar store more frequently! Hours of fun...

NYC...cars,trains, taxis, and more taxis

We took a trip to NYC 2 weeks ago to attend the wedding of Chris's cousin, Cameron. Dad and Linda were kind enough to make the trip down from upstate NY to join us in the city and help take care of the kids. I unfortunately didn't take very many pictures, because we were always on the move! Since Wendy drove up most of our gear to the hotel, we were able to take a "relaxing" train ride there and back. We then enjoyed MANY taxi rides during our stay there! Foster loved the fact that they had TVs build into the backseats. Tough to shield a kid from seeing NYC news on those TVs though...yikes. We took the kids to the Museum of Natural History and spent a few hours in the dinosaur exhibits. Later in the day Dad and Linda then took them to the children's museum of Manhattan...a better hands-on place for little ones!

Look at the buildings in the clouds!!!

Dinos, dinos, and more dinos.

Turns out "black tie" doesn't mean purple tie. Ooops. Purple was my recommendation and I think he looked smashing!

Siblings sitting still

I rarely get a good shot of these two together, and of course I had my finger over the flash for this one.  Foz needs a haircut, but it's not a bad shot.

Happy New Year!

Looks like this blog is becoming a once-a-month event...so a summary of our December! We had a fun playdate with two of Foster's friends from school, Calvin and Leo and Calvin's little brother is in Molly's class, so it was a 5-kid playdate! Decorating cookies lasted about 2 minutes for the kids, 30 minutes for the adults (as the kids entertained themselves). I forgot how much I love icing. Yum.

Christmas morning. Who DOESN'T look tired here.
We then headed to California for a wonderful celebration with the Little-Morris clan. It is so much fun to have same-age cousins! Foster and Pierce even shared a room...not without conflict, but they did it!

Cousin walk!

We then headed home for a few days of work before the new year. During that time, we discovered that Leo had gotten a Jeep for xmas...and let Molly and Foster drive it! Wow...that was fun. Until the batteries died 1/4 mile from home.
Out of the way mom!

Thanks for the dollhouse Morrises!

After a very quiet New Year's Eve (although I thoroughly enjoyed Despicable Me), we took a New Year's Day walk in the local park. Pretty quiet on a cold New Year's Day! A new family tradition perhaps?
Last but not least, we added a new family member. After waiting for the right dog to come around, we welcomed "Lanka" a week ago. He is a mid-age Aussie and so far an incredible dog. We are still working on the name, but he answers to Lanka, Hanka, Hank, Frank, and Sanka.
